The plan for today was to return to Charlie Fat's camp and clear the scrub trees from around all the Avocado trees we spotted there last Sunday. Dave and Stanka showed up at my place a little after 9 a.m. (That means I get to sleep in after dancing "all night" at Pearl Harbor.) No we are not really going to tell you exactly where this is as we are being greedy when we think of all the avocados hanging in the trees. About 2 minutes off the road on the Small Mt trail we ran into this young dog. I tried to chase him away, but he wouldn't go away. So he followed us all day.
We arrived at the "Big Rocks" area in about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Right on schedule. Up to this point we did just about no clearing as the trail is in good shape from other trips.
