At Jury's Tree we turned right toward the Lualualei Lookout. Here Alan is breaking out his hand saw to clear a guava tree blocking the trail.
Closer to the lookout we pass below this 100' high rock face.
Here Alan poses to the left of two massive dikes. Those are the remains of lava pushing into cracks in older flows and cooling slower and becoming more dense.
