Giant agave plants, remnants of an old attempt to farm them to make sisal rope from the fibers in the leafs.
Our favorite "site" in the valley is known as the "Secret Site" and only know to perhaps 15 hikers and a whole bunch of pig hunters. It's not on any of the normally hiked trails in the valley and it will remain SECRET until we feel like releasing it's location.
We believe it to be the base site for the Wai`anae Coffee Plantation's Chinese workers camp.
