Looking mauka (toward the mountains) Jane took this of me. The low dark leafed bush behind me is Alahe`e a Hawaiian native and very common along the middle section of the ridge. More about it later.
The wind was very strong today, and if we had some feathers attached to our arms we could have flown to the top. (Stanka photo)
