After stopping at MacDonald's to "do my thing" I drove up Waimano Home Road and pulled into the parking area. That's my yellow truck with the red tail gate.
As soon as I got my boots on I took off. I had a long walk ahead of me and I planned to work on the area where there was a landslide about 4 years ago. The existing trail was carried away and someone cut a trail into the dirt slide that was in it's place. The trail head is right there and one must walk along the outside of the fence for about 1/4 mile before the trail becomes "nice" to walk on.
