Just on the other side of the gate is a fork in the "jeep" road. We split into two groups one going CCWise and the group I was w/going CWise. This is the first stream crossing of an un-named stream. Here is a VIDEO to add a little life to this report.
The second stream crossing is over Waianu Stream again w/a VIDEO. The road ends at this crossing. At sometime in the past it must have had a "bridge" like the one above. But it is long gone.
Here Mike is cutting steps into the bank going around a section of the "ditchman" trail that has washed away.
