The steep wall of the left wall of Canyon #4 as we entered it going clockwise.
We were here a few months ago and John Hall tentatively identified this as Nehe an endemic native. From the picture in my book "Growing Hawai`i's Native Plants" it's scientific name would be Wollastonia tenuifolia. It is growing on the right wall of Canyon #4 on the rocky cliff side. It would only get afternoon sun.
