At the head of the little valley is another tunnel. This is plantation tunnel 6A. It has had soil and rock wash down and pretty much block the entrance. The tunnel seems to go back a long ways and has standing water in it.
This photo Dan took gives you an idea of the size of the opening. Back when it was dug it the entrance was most likely 5-6 feet high.
