The Tikis are at a point where a finger ridge coming up from Wai`anae meets Kamaileunu Ridge. We cleared an old trail on this ridge last year and have been calling in Tiki Ridge. There are three rock faces to climb. The highest about 20 feet. As stated earlier this rope needed to be replaced. Here you see Dan getting the new rope ready.
It's tied off and Dan starts down. You can see a short piece of water hose that will slide down the rope and stay at the point where it goes over the cliff. We hope this will eliminate wear on the rope.
