Danny named this spot Horse Shoe Falls. There is no "water fall" unless there is a heavy rain. This picture was taken last year. I'm standing at the foot of the fall. there are rock faces on 3 sides of me. That's Jean T who came along on July 4th 2007. What has to be done at this point is climb up the rocks on the right as you look up into the horse shoe shaped fall. I'm holding a rope in the picture that makes it safer.
Back to today's adventure, I'm on the top of the fall and that is Stanka and Dan working their way to the fall.
The climb above the fall is done in two sections w/two different ropes to aide you. This is a video of Stanka coming up the first section .
This is her final assent of the second section. You can see Dan coming up the first rope behind her.
