On December 11th from about midnight to say 10 a.m. we had a super heavy rain storm. My rain gauge recorded just about 9 inches in that 10 hour period. There was flooding all over O`ahu. Lucky my house remained high and dry, but my lower yard did not. But that's another story. One week later we decided to wander around in Upper Wai`anae to see what we could see. I'd like to thank Dan and Stanka for some of their photos which I used in this report.
When crossing this normally dry stream bed we use to go under this tree. The storm waters moved it and now we go around to it's left.
