We cleaned up and ate lunch at Tunnel 6A.  Then we headed back to the Ramble and went looking for Tunnel #11.  I had been there about 30 years ago w/Mike K and had a good idea where it was.  We had to bushwhack our way down to the stream and then up along it until Dan spotted the tunnel.  Just below the tunnel the plantation people built two stone walls on either side of the stream.  Why?  Perhaps there was a bridge here as the tunnel produced over 105,000 gallons a day.  I wonder what happened to the water.  When Mike and I were here 30 + years ago it was a dry tunnel as  is the 397 foot tunnel today.
