After visiting the piko rock and the wall we hiked back up to the road. We continued on the road slowly gaining altitude to a spot where there were some house sites. But when we arrived we found that the grass on the trail down to them had not been cleared and we would have a hard time seeing anything. So we kept going on the road and would loop back to where we started in the morning. You can see the road (white line) on the left side of the picture.
This stone wall was just off the road at the spot where we might have walked down to the house sites.
