This was taken just outside of Tunnel 6.
Gene then lead us out to the BWS road and then down to Makaha Stream. It was quite dry and has been for many months. In the middle of the stream is this huge boulder. To me it looks like the head of some strange beast. Gene would be standing with his hand on it's nose.
