The next tunnel on the left bank would be Tunnel 6. This was a long tunnel about 475 feet long. In that same January 1932 day it was providing the plantation w/28,000 gallons a day. The entrance to this is like 3A almost blocked by slides.

A closer look of the entrance.

A few weeks ago Gene went in alone and went all the way to the end. Today I slipped in and decided I didn't like the stability of the tunnel. The walls and ceiling seem to be just dirt and there were signs that bits had fallen into the tunnel over time. I only went in about 50' before turning around.
