I was planning to do this last week, but a friend arrived from the mainland and we went hiking then. Yesterday I led the Solemates on a hike and in 3 days the HTMC will be hiking the Ramble so I have to finish checking the trail and marking one important intersection w/another trail.
I took off about 8:30 alone packing my loppers, a can of spray paint, a fanny back full of bottle caps, and some ribbon to mark the bee's hive. This is looking back toward the ocean just above Lookout Point.
For some reason I was making great time. I reached the ginger near Tunnel 6 in only 50 minutes.
