After passing the dam we headed up the pipe line and for maybe 5 minutes we walked along the Ramble Trail where it shares the same path as does the Water Works Trail. Stanka took this of the ginger patch still in full flower. This is just below the remains of the Wai`anae Plantation managers mountain home.
After leaving the ginger the trail goes down a hill on an old road w/head high grass. This picture also by Stanka shows Dan leading a group of the slower hikers on a short cut from the dam to the junction on the road. This brought the group back together minus the really fast guys.
