After leaving the site we head back to my truck. Along the way we came upon yet another wall and a terrace. Mike took this picture.
Below the above walls we came to this barren area. The State is trying to maintain a "fire break" between the ranch and the forest. That's a great idea, but look at these two pictures and see the cattle fence is down flat on the ground giving the cattle free access to the forest reserve. They wander all the way to the BWS road and have crossed it as they seek food.
