We walked and cleared mauka on the ridge crest until we came to the lunch/snack spot. There is a trail leading down into the forbidden Naval Reservation and a sign telling you not to go there. The views are wonderful and it's a good spot to sit down and take a break. This sign has been signed by every hunter who ever visited the spot and perhaps a few hikers as well. The second shot shows my name and the date I first came to this spot, 1965. I'm not sure what the "7" is under the 5.
