At the bottom of the ridge the Kumaipo Trail cuts off to the left and leads to the end of the road. We decided to continue down Kumaipo stream to an Avaccado tree Dan discovered last Sunday. It is dropping these big avacados that must weigh about 3 lbs each and are soooooooooooooo good. Along the way I spotted a number of this tree growing. I think it's a native.
