The stream that we are now following has no name that I know of. Back when I hunted in Wai`anae my partner Mike and I called it Ekaha Stream because there were many of these Bird Nest Ferns growing along the stream, Ekaha is the Hawaiian name. Today there are no where as many as there use to be.
What this valley does have is water all year long and three water falls between the crawl thru tunnel and the Ramble Trail which we will meet up with again. This is the smallest of the 3.
