It was now about 12:30 p.m. and we were both hungary.  So we sat down atop the rock face, enjoyed the view, congradulated each other and ate our lunches.  Around 1 p.m.  we pushed off again toward the tikis.  We had about 200' more elevation to gain and this would be done in perhaps 300 linear feet.  Since Dan worked so hard getting up the fourth rock face I took the lead w/my 31" loppers.  Here I go w/a big smile on my face.

From here on the going was pretty tough.  When we reached the 4th rock face we found two branches bent over in a way that only a human could have done it.  Well we were not the first to reach that point.  But we didn't think anyone had climbed it.  WRONG!  As I cut through the Christmas Berry which is the dominent vegetation here I found a cut branch.  Clean, looks like the guy made it up the rock face.   From time to time we did find some interesting plants.  Check out this one.  I think it is a native Ilima, the O'ahu flower.
