Before we left we marked the trail as ours, and also included a warning NOT TO try to go down w/out at least 300' of rope as we pulled ALL our ropes up w/us. We plan to return, finalize the trail and then leave ropes for others to use. We posed for group pictures.
The ribbons proclaim this as the STAR TREK TRAIL where NO MAN HAS GONE BEFORE. We are sure we are the first 4 humans to climb to this summit from Wai`anae Valley. We marked the DATE and our NAMES, and as I said a warning NOT TO GO DOWN W/O 300' OF ROPE.
