After taking picture we pulled the rope up and Dan sent me on ahead again.  He kept saying something about my cleats gripping.  So I tied the rope on to another tree and took off down a steep slope/pig trail, and up a little hill.  It looked like the end of the line as there was nothing but cliffs in front of me.  But below me there seemed to be another pig trail going on toward Lualualei.  In the picture you can sort of see my yellow shirt and light blue bandana on my head.

We kind of decided that we were not sure exactly where we were.  Elevation we were about 2460', but the vegetation was so thick we could not see the summit.  So the decision made was to head back down.  We would return on Saturday w/a bunch of HELIUM filled balloons and at least 200' of twine.  If we can get them up above the tree tops and tie them off we hope to head down to where we could see the summit like Lookout Point and then try to see the balloons.  Hopefully the sun will reflect well off them and we'd have a better idea if it really possible to reach the summit.

We moved the rope again and decided to leave it behind but in such a manner that if we wanted we could just pull it down from bellow.  It's not tied just looped around a good solid tree.  Here goes Danny down.
