After resting up we walked up the jeep road until we came to an intersection w/a road leading off to the left. We turned there. I strung a long ribbon across the other choice to keep people from making a mistake and taking the wrong path. The trail to Bal's "spot" continued on the old road, often thru forests of Ironwood Trees.
The next two Panorama shots are from Bal's resting place. The view to the ocean is fantastic as well as the view toward the higher slopes of the Wai`anae Mountains. It was about 11 a.m. when we arrived. Elevation 1100 feet above sea level. Enjoy the view Bal!
