Finally after 4 hours we arrived at the base of the lower fall that can be seen in the very first photos. It is huge, I'd guess somewhere around 300 feet at least. This panorama was taken from the right bank of the stream. In this shot you can not see the bottom of the falls. What is really neat about this place is how open it is to the sky. There are no really big trees and as long as we were there we were in bright sunshine. Elevation at the pool is about 2450'.
