After everyone safely descended this slope, we had to climb around on the windward side of a small pu`u. You can only see the leeward half of it in the above picture. Sorry I was concentrating on the above picture and didn't plan ahead. I was also worried about falling off the narrow summit. :-) Once we got around the pu`u we found one more slope to climb down. But someone was nice enough to leave a good strong rope for us to use.
