As the ridge steepened it became to dangerous to climb higher. Thankfully a pig trail crossed the ridge and took off in the direction we wanted to go. It took a little clearing to make it a people trail. Here you see Scott making it look easy.
From my vantage point on the pig trail I had this great shot of Pu`u Lanihuli on the other side of Kalihi Valley.
